I was thinking that the sax was getting picked up by multiple mics each with their own fx chains. What it sounded like to me. Man I know all about wanting a physical keyboard even when there are several decent VSTs. I want one of those electric Hohner clavs with a whammy bar, and I want it bad. I want to smell it. You can't smell a VST. It's sort of my white whale.

Steely Dan is basically Donald Fagen (keyboards/vocals) and Walter Becker (electric guitar). Everyone else is a rotating cast of studio musicians. The Wikipedia article on tha Aja album lists the personnel for each track. You really should check out the whole album. This why those of us who grew up in the 60s and 70s believe our generation had the best music.

Not sure since you have the Quest 2, but on the Quest 3 has the ability to take photos. Then you hit Oculus button on the left stick to see menu an then select photo album, then hit Oculus button to return to the game. On the Clock if you hold the left stick it will move the top two once and then rotate the middle gear continuously.

A female counter-version of Dimash that you should know about. She's incredible. This angel is one of the best singers (incredible extremely low vocal, dramatic contralto + polyphonic voice) in the world! Diana Ankudinova I was stunned to find that the first performance (Show "You are Super") I heard was when she was 14!!!! She's now 21 (turned 31st May) and still developing. I've been using a Blue Yeti for probably over a decade at this point and don't have any plans to move away from it. I basically always leave it on the heart polar pattern with the gain at about 50%. I've never used the Blue Snowball (I do have a Blue Eyeball 2.0 for on-the-go recording, not that I think I've ever used it) so not sure how it compares. I did pick up "The Pop" pop filter and "The Radius" shock mount, both also produced by Blue. I'm not entirely sure how much those help to be honest, but it makes the whole setup mounted to my desk look pretty impressive 😆 All my gear I got before Logitech bought them up in 2018 though. I'm not sure how modern Blue equipment compares to their independent stuff, but it looks like that one you've got there is the same model I have so I'm certain it's a great buy!

If the screen is mounted to a top handle the hdmi on the bottom are perfect.

One of my favorite BM songs, and it doesn’t get the kind of mention it should, imo. Their harmonies, Su’s exquisite vocals, extremely catchy tune, and just how much it displays their versatility as artists (from band to singer to dancers) make it a must hear/see.

At around 14:00 his solo sounds like it could be in a Mariokart course. Ok a little about this band, the bass players name is Michael League. He's the founder, and writes and produces most of it. Larnell Lewis is on drumset. He's my favorite drummer ever, tied with Neil Peart from Rush. One of the keyboard players plays my favorite trumpet solo ever in their track call Shofukan. They're all so multitalented and freaking wizards at their instruments. Great song, lots of fun, a very unique band for their time! Ricky Wilson was the original guitarist, he had very unusual guitar tunings, sometimes playing with just 4 strings by removing the middle two. Next, check out their studio version of “52 Girls,” released in 78. ✌️

I played with color grading in DaVinci very briefly, but from what I remember color grading presets *are* custom LUTs. You set up the grading node the way you want them, then you can right-click on a clip and go to "Generate LUT", choose the cube density (I'm not entirely sure what this means, but the handful of guides I've seen say 33-point is sufficient for most tasks), and that will output a *.cube file. Then you can right-click on one of the existing LUT categories and select "Open File Location". Create your own folder there and put your *.cube file in that folder and you should see it pop up as a custom category with your custom LUT inside that you can just drag into any future clips.

I just listened to Animosity live CDMX. They have their uncle and cousin offstage helping with backing parts musically and with vocals at times. In this show especially towards the beginning of the concert his backing vocals are mixed way to strong and they backed them off quite a bit once they figured that out.Personally I dont like when he sings backup and feel they should let Ale do it more because she does have a lower register anyway.

This is the second video I watch of yours about this camera, and on both of them, the audio is out of sync. Watched another video on your channel, just to see if it was ok, and it seemed to be ok.

Larry Carleton created the arrangements and was the brilliant guitar soloist. Back then every session player was expected to "bring something" to the piece and this is what you get when you have so many talented performers who know their business.

This song was a needed breakthrough. It follows too many songs were about love, and deep, or were angry in the 1970’s. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. The B52’s Rock Lobster was a breath of fresh airborne- pure unapologetic, unadulterated fun. I distinctly recalled being a freshman in college, hearing our dorm’s RA complain, “Our songs were songs about love. These kids are bopping around to a rock lobster!”

You can record from a mixing board into that to do live recordings. I am asking questions about that to tascam.

Legacy Studio: Probably too late to respond. Two thoughts, I was impressed with the music - which is a surprise; well done. Have you heard a recording a real dulcimer? Or one 'live.' I have several spitfire (paid for) collections and I respect their efforts but the dulcimer isn't easy to nail.
